The Stewardship Committee at Most Blessed Sacrament Church requested a new logo based loosely on the diocesan stewardship logo, Communion, and features of their sanctuary.
The first proposed logo used colors from stained glass in their church, text they provided in the same round format as the diocesan stewardship logo, and a cross reminiscent of a communion wafer in the center. The second logo used shapes from stained glass to form a monstrance holding communion, with their text around the frame of the monstrance. The third logo is traced from a mural in their sanctuary.
The committee suggested some adjustments and variations, including that they wanted the final logo to have rays. I mocked up multiple versions of each logo for their review and feedback.
The committee ultimately settled on the design based on the mural in their sanctuary. I produced versions of the final logo in English and Spanish, with and without text, and in color and black and white. The final package included every combination of those features with vector and png files that were ready for any application the group might have, as well as a branding guide that included the precise colors and fonts.
