This image was made for a client who wanted a print of St. Leonidas of Alexandria. The original image provided by the client was a grainy, 200×150 px image that appeared to be a scan of a print of a woodcut.

To make this image appear less pixellated, I traced it in Illustrator and then applied a custom color scheme using Photoshop. I framed the print in an oak frame with a navy mat that had thin brown lines on the inside. The classic look of the frame combined with the modern stylization of the image and repeated blue hues throughout made for a striking final product.
