DSFC site redesign

IHS Sanitation website homepage on a 13-inch screen

The Division of Sanitation Facilities Construction at Indian Health Service wanted to redesign their site to eliminate redundant information and add updated photos of their work. They did not have any photos that were well-suited to the wide layout of the webpage on a standard screen, so I suggested using three photos set to appear the same height. This allows desktop users to see the text below the images, while mobile users see the photos one after another.

Like many of the pages on IHS.gov, DSFC had a lot of text content they wanted to make available to users. We organized and streamlined the content presentation using collapsibles.

We also used external files and combination layouts where appropriate.
